Thrust Roller Bearings are a particular type of rotary bearings. Similar to other bearings they allow rotation between parts, but they are designed to support a predominantly axial load. Cylindrical Roller Thrust Bearings are cheap and have a perfect carrying capacity, but tend to wear due to the difference in radical speed. Tapered Roller Thrust Bearings commonly used in automotive applications where they are used in pairs to accommodate axial thrust and also radial loads. Spherical Roller Thrust Bearings are self-aligning bearings which allow maximum shaft misalignment to about 2 degrees. Lubrication should be done carefully as their great sliding contact area results in smearing.
Thrust Roller Bearings are used in applications of automotive, cement and metal industry, and also for the mining sector and production machines. Click Here to view top brands of Thrust Roller Bearings.
